Thank you to Flicks and Food for this wonderful article highlighting CBSA’s mission and successes!
“Since its inception, the CBSA has raised the “barre” on the art scene in San Antonio by garnering an impressive and extensive number of “firsts” for the city through recognition, awards, and scholarships. Last year, CBSA had the largest number of awarded soloists from San Antonio selected to compete in the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York. This summer, five students attended the Royal Ballet School in London, while eight others studied at the award-winning Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia, a school that has turned out some of the greatest dancers the world has ever seen, including Baryshnikov.”
