Audition for CBSA’s production of Mean Girls Jr. NOW!!

CBSA’s Mean Girls Jr.

Auditions will be held on friday, january 12, 2024 at the dance center of san antonio

126 W Rector St.

*Auditions are open to the public and are for ages 10-19. All actors of any and all backgrounds and abilities are encouraged to audition!

General audition times are as follows:

5pm - 8pm

Open call audition city-wide for actors ages 10-19. More timing details sent in registration confirmation email.

Audition Requirements:

  • The actor will perform a cut from the character that they believe they are best suited to play. They will use the appropriate cut found in the CBSA MT Mean Girls Audition Google Drive (linked below) for their audition. Some actors may be asked to stay for a Callback after their audition.

  • Actors will also participate in a dance call directly after their vocal audition. Please wear appropriate dance attire. All actors must wear jazz shoes.

  • All actors will be required to perform a short one-minute (or less) monologue during auditions. Memorization is not required. Monologue suggestions are provided in the registration confirmation email.

Audition Materials:

  • Actors are required to bring a resume and headshot to their audition.

  • Access to Google Drive with audition materials is available in the registration confirmation email.

Participation Requirements:

  • Participation fee is $350.

  • Rehearsals are Friday evenings 5:30-8:30 pm starting January 19. Regular rehearsal attendance is required.
